Last week I told you about the thuggish tactics of 'blockers' who attempt to intimidate petitioners and potential petition signers attempting to recall Michigan House Speaker Andy Dillon from office.

Speaker Andy Dillon has steadfastly denied that he is behind the tactics of the thugs. These tactics include shouting at potential petition signers, blocking citizen access to petitioners, following petitioners home, lying, stalking them when they run routine errands, and swarming around petitioners in a threatening manner.

So, is Dillon really innocent of organizing the thugs? Check out this story that aired on Channel 4 WDIV News yesterday.

As reported on Channel 4 News, we are offering a $250 bounty to anyone who can positively identify the name and address of any of the thug blockers. The information will be used for the purpose of filing individual federal civil rights violation lawsuits against these thugs. Photos of the thugs can be found at www.dillonsthugs.com.

Citizens of Andy Dillon's 17th House District in Redford, north Dearborn Heights and southeast Livonia, led by Rose Bogaert of the Wayne County Taxpayer Association, are persevering under some of the worst circumstances in the history of petition gathering. Their effort to collect 8,724 signatures by May 1st to force a recall election of Speaker Dillon have been hindered by the aggressive thugs, expensive legal battles, near-record snow, cold, rain, and being stalked.

But they continue to collect signatures, and the number of volunteer petitioners continues to grow. Why? Because Andy Dillon lead the legislature's increase of your state income tax by 12% and state business tax by 22%. Dillon also supported increasing state General Fund spending by 8% and the legislature's own budget by more than 7%, all while his constituents' incomes and home values declined.

Andy Dillon will stop at nothing to prevent his constituents from having a chance to recall him. Rose Bogaert and her crew are heroes who are fighting on behalf of every overburdened, economically suffering Michigan citizen - we can't let them down.
